Privacy Policy

This page explains what data Blogger to WordPress Converter collects, why, and how you can remove it. We only collect what is needed to convert your blog and to keep the service secure.

What we collect

If you upload a Blogger XML backup, we store that file and the WordPress export files we generate from it. If you sign in with Google, we also store your Google account ID, name, email address and profile picture so we can show you who is signed in, plus an encrypted access/refresh token so we can read your Blogger blogs on your behalf.

Google account access

Signing in with Google requests read-only access to your Blogger blogs (scope blogger.readonly), plus your basic profile (name, email, profile picture). We use this only to list your blogs and read their posts, pages, labels and comments so we can build a WordPress export file. We never publish, edit or delete anything on your Blogger blog.

Limited Use of Google user data

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements: we do not sell Google user data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not allow humans to read it except with your consent, to comply with the law, to keep the service secure, or as part of our own limited internal operations for these purposes. How long we keep data

Uploaded XML backups and generated WordPress export files are deleted automatically 72 hours after they are created, whether or not you are signed in. If you never sign in, your data is only linked to your current browser session. Google access/refresh tokens are kept only while your account exists, and are removed automatically if you have not returned in a long time.

Deleting your data

You can permanently delete your uploads, jobs and generated files at any time from your account page using "Delete my data." If you signed in with Google, this also revokes our access to your Google account. You can also revoke access directly from your Google Account permissions page at any time.

Cookies and sessions

We use a single session cookie to keep track of your uploads and to protect forms against forgery (CSRF). We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Sharing with third parties

We do not sell or share your data with advertisers or data brokers. Your files are processed on our own server; the only outside service involved is Google, when you choose to sign in.

Children's privacy

This service is intended for people who manage a Blogger or WordPress blog and is not directed at children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the "last updated" date above.
